Mr. Boling was born April 15, 1922, in Apex, N.C., a son of the late Robert R. Boling and Mrs. Ella Boling.
He was a Mason, a member of first Baptist Church of John's Island, a retired mechanic with the state highway department and an Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving are: his widow, Mrs Helen Lambert Boling of John's Island; a son John Clinton Boiling of John's Island; a daughter, Miss Mary Ella Boling of Ashville, N.C..; three brothers, Jesse R. Boling of Chapel Hill, N.C., Robert R. Boling of Amo. Ind, and Eugene Boling of Raleigh, N.C.; three sisters, Mrs. Bessie Langston and Miss Edna Boling, both of Raleigh, and Mrs. Nellie Joyce of Charlotte, N.C.
