03/15/2008 NANCY (CUSHING) BULLIS ESSEX JUNCTION/PORT RICHEY, Fla.— Nancy (Cushing) Bullis, 66, formerly of Essex Junction, passed away at her home in Port Richey on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008 surrounded by her loving family.
Nancy was born in Colchester on Jan. 30, 1942, the daughter of the late Arnold and Doris (Bogue) Cushing.
She was head cook at Essex Junction High School in Vermont was assistant manager of Atria Amberwood Assisted Living Facility in Port Richey. Nancy enjoyed her family, traveling, home improvements and taking care of her yard.
She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Bruce; and her two children, Carmen Hays, and her husband, Russell, of Port Richey, and Kevin Bullis of Port Richey; a grandson, the love of her life, Jory Patterson of Orlando; two sisters, Liz Sheltra and her husband, John, Rae Legrand and her husband, Raymond; three brothers, Paul Bogue and his wife, Theresa, Robert Cushing and Carol Dunshee, Craig Cushing and his wife , Pam; and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her loving dog, Hershey, whom she thought the world of.
A graveside memorial service will be held in Fairview Cemetery in Essex Junction at the convenience of the family. Corbin and Palmer Funeral Home, 9 Pleasant St., Essex Junction, in charge of arrangements.
