Berniece Bammann, 88 of Anderson, Ind., died at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 23, 1999, in the Community Hospital in Anderson, after a lenghty illness.
She was born Dec. 18, 1910, at Girard, to Alfred Eugene and Dora Etta Goshert. She grew up and attended schools in Girard.
She married Elmer "Pete" Bammann on June 15, 1928 at Girard. He preceded her in death March 25, 1975.
She was a homemaker most of her life. She was a dedicated worker for the election board in Brazilton, and was a dietary worker for a number of years. She was a Christian.
Survivors include a son, Elmer "Bud" Bammann, of Dittmer. Mo,; four daughters, Patsy Graebner, of Derby, Jane Waller, of Flourissant, Mo., Carolyn Tucker, of Knoxville, Tenn., and Linda Cordry of Anderson; a sister, Esther Hartman, of Wichita; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grand children and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was prededed in death by a daughter, Evelyn Bammann, on Feb. 14, 1933; a sister, Thelman Needham; and two brothers, Aubrey "Lightening" Goshert and Paul Goshert.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, with Mrs. Bammann's son-in-law, Dave Cordry, officiating. Burial will be in Girard Cemetery.
