A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, October 27, at Stokesdale Christian Church with Rev. Miles Stanley officiating. Inurnment with military honors will follow in the church cemetery.
A native of Stokes County, N.C., Ronnie was born on November 15, 1946, the son of Troy Gordon and Jessie Stockton Holland. He was a member of Stokesdale Christian Church, had worked as a plumber for 28 years, and enjoyed fishing. Ronnie was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the Vietnam War.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jessie Holland.
Surviving are his wife, Lee Holland, of the home; daughters, Courtney Holland and Kayce Holland, of the home, and Tammy Thomason and her husband, Bill, of Savannah, Ga.; his father, Mr. Gordon Holland of Stokesdale, and granddaughter, Rachel Thomason.
