Services for Mansil E. Achimon, 77, of Van Alstyne were held Monday in Flesher Funeral Home with burial in Van Alstyne Cemetery. He died Saturday in Wilson N. Jones Hospital.
Mr. Achimon was born in Anna, son of Mr. and Mrs. Barney Achimon, and married Myrtle Walker on Jan 25, 1933.
Surviving are his sisters, Mrs. Clora Phelps and Mrs. Opal Whitfield of Van Alstyne, Mrs. Fay Henson of Whitesboro, Mrs. Gaynell McWilliams of Borger and Ms. Wilma Owens of Gainesville; brothers, Manning Achimon of Cartwright, Okla., Cecil Achimon of Van Alstyne, Rayford Achimon of Waxahachie, Ray D. Achimon of Arlington and R.L. Achimon of Whitesboro.
