Rachel Sidenstricker
Services were held Wednesday morning for Mrs. Rachel Kay Sidenstricker, 31, of Alba, at the Hedge-Lewis Funeral Home chapel. The Rev. Gerald Holden officiated. Burial was in the Purcell cemetery. Pallbearers were Gary Jarmin, Ernest Crane, Tom Isemann, Ronald Boyer, Ronnie Johnston and Bob Silvey.
Mrs. Sidenstricker died Sunday morning at Jane Chinn Memorial hospital where she had been a patient one day.
Born November 25, 1942, at St. Louis, Mrs. Sidenstricker came to Alba 30 years ago. She was a member of the Methodist church of Alba and had been an employee of Big Smith Manufacturing Co., of Carthage. Surviving are her husband, Rex Sidenstricker; three daughters, Robyn, Rhonda and Renee Sidenstricker, all of the home; a son, Russell Sidenstricker of the home; and a sister, Mrs. Janet Ferguson, Birds Landing, California.
