Mr. Clarence R. Acton, 71, Route 7, died at his home Tuesday after a long illness. Mr. Acton was born Jan. 6, 1900, in Boone County to James and Fannie Foley Acton. He married Lillie Weymeyer in 1925. He later married Opal Moreau in 1937. Survivors include: his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Joh Hansen, Gravois Mills, and Mrs. Arelene (Arlene) Johnson, New Franklin; two sons, Gary Acton, Indian Hills and Ralph Acton, 1809 Doris Drive; three stepchildren, Mrs. William Taylor, Chicago, Elwood Bradshaw, Galiath, Calif., and Henry Bradshaw, Ft Worth, Tex.; three brothers, Hollis Aton, Harrisburg, Walter Acton, Moberly and Tilford Acton, Route 7; one sister, Mrs. Malcom Wade, Route 9; and 16 grandchildren. Services will be at 3:30 today, at the Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. J.A. Stidham will officiate. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at Memorial Funeral Home until the services.
