Mrs Peter Allison Died in Nebraska

Mrs Peter Allison, former resident of Winneshiek county, died Christmas day at the home of her brother, Helmer Rensvold, at Hemingford, in northwestern Nebraska.
Miss Karen Rensvold and her parents, upon coming to this country from Norway made their home at the Lars Guttebo farm in Glenwood township. Later her father bought a farm in western Allamakee county and the family resided there several years.
In 1869 she married Peter Allison and they lived in Allamakee county. In 1891 Mr Allison died and eight years later she returned to Winneshiek county, living on a farm in Glenwood township. For the past four years she had lived with her brother, Helmer Rensvold in Hemingford.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs Emil Sivesind in Glenwood township; four sons, Melvin of Decorah, Peter of Omaha, NE, Henry of Alberta, Canada and John of Waukon; two sisters, Mrs Lars Severtson of Bottineau, ND, and Mrs E A Paul of Los Angeles, CA; and two brothers, Helmer of Hemingford, NE and Albert of Alliance, NE.
