She leaves to mourn her loss the following sons and daughters: Mrs Lovina Lee Walker and Mrs. Isabelle Kennington of Afton, Mrs Ella McBride, Hyrum Utah; Jesse, Leroy and Eugene Blanchard of Walla Walla, Washington, Don of Falen, Nevada and frank of Hagerman Idaho besides 56 grandchildren, 98 great grand children and 3 great, great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday July 31st in the south Ward chapel. Bishop E.N. Allred conducted the services.
Prayers were offered by George A. Hale and Thomas F. Burton. Musical numbers were two selections from a group comprising, Mary Call, Lucille Call, Nellie Roberts, Mondell White and Ivan Gardner. "When the Mists Have Cleared away" and "O My Father." Vocal Solo "Face to Face by Ivan Garner and Vocal Solo "Smilin' Through by Arch Gardner.
Bp. O. Low extolled the splendid accomplishments of this good woman and her unceasing devotion to her family and loved ones, and told of her early life in Star Valley.
Lettie D. Campbell gave a brief history of her life reading excerpts from clippings telling of incidents in her life which is rich in Church lore, For her story so nearly parallels that of the Church.
Bp. Asael Blanchard of Smithfield said her regretted more than he could express that he had never taken the trouble to learn from her lips the beautiful story of her early years in the church and her association with its leaders.
Bp. George Kennington said he had always admired her for a true homemaker, always beautiful flowers surrounded her home and cage birds gaily sang their happy days for her. She gave the assistance to her friends and neighbors that only the gentle soothing touch of a willing practical hand can give, declared the speaker.
Brief remarks were given by Bp. I.N. Allred.
Pall bearers were grandsons of the deceased.
Interment was in the city cemetery.
Reuben McBride offered the dedicatory preayer.
