Lena Odell Karriker, 82, of Jena, died at 5:30 a.m., Saturday, January 9, 1999, at Pineville.
She was a homemaker and member of the East Jena Baptist Church. She was born Dec. 20, 1916, at Jena to the union of Clarence and Eulola Smith Peppers.
Services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 10, at East Jena Baptist Church with Rev. Craig James officiating.
Interment followed in the Woodland Cemetery of Jena under direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena.
Survivors include one daughter, Virginia Wark of Pineville; one brother, Homer Peppers of Jena; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Terry Head, Sr., Terry Head, Jr., Carlson Peppers, Toby Peppers, Terry Lynn Head, Terry Peppers, and Mark Scarber.
