Crooksville---William G. Weller, 85, of Crooksville, Route 2, died at midnight Thursday in Good Samaritan Medical Center following a long illness.
Mr. Weller was a retired farmer and school bus driver of the Harrison Township School District in Perry County. He was a member of the Morgan County Fox Hunters Association. He served in the Army in World War I and was a member of the Perry County barracks of W.W.I.
Born Nov. 22, 1893 in Harrison Township, he was a son of Albert J. and Molly Axline Weller.
Surviving are his wife, Doris Bateson Weller, of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Thomas (Berniece) Lewis of Crooksville, route 2; two grandsons and four great-grandchildren.
Friends may call today at the Cannon and Cannon Funeral Home in Crooksville. The service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. James Freshour officiating. Burial in Iliff Cemetery in McCluney.
