Henry J. Kreeger, 67, a veteran of World War I, died Friday in his home, 133 Crown Hill Ave. He had been in failing health several years. Mr. Kreeger was born in Amherst Jan 17, 1894 and had lived in Amherst his entire life. He retired from Cleveland Quarries, South Amherst, in 1959. A 32nd degree Mason, Mr. Kreeger was a member of Stonington Masonic Lodge and Lorain County Scottish Rite. He was a member of American Legion Post 197, South Amherst. Survivors are a brother, Ludolf F., Amherst and three sisters, Mrs. Matilda Bodenmiller and Mrs. Clara Booth, both of Toledo and Mrs. Helena Bolman, Spring Valley, Calif. Friends will be received in the Garland Funeral Home where services will be tomorrow at 2 p.m. The Rev. Howard Clark, pastor of the Foursquare Gospel Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Cleveland Street Cemetery. A Masonic service will be held in the funeral home tonight at 8.
