Mrs. Catherine A. Hietter of the Bel-Wood Nursing Home and formerly of Princeville died in St. Francis Hospital November 27, 1967, where she had been a patient for four weeks.
She was born in Akron Township July 12, 1897, the daughter of George and Anna Streitmatter Weese. She married Leo T. Hietter September 16, 1919, in Princeville. She was a member of St. Mary of the Woods Church. Surviving are four sons, Thomas of Peoria, Earl and James of Washington and Leo of Princeville, two daughters, Mrs. France Arrowood of Peoria and Mrs. Rose Kneer of Washington, 18 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and one son.
Services were held in St. Mary of the Woods church with Fr. William Smith officiating. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Charles Bohanan, Richard Hoffer, James Conley, Walter Wieland, Harry Heinz and Lucius Sheets.
