Born in Lukin Township, Lawrence County, on April 21, 1900 she was the daughter of Richard and Olive (Worstell) Thompson. She married Emmett Stookey, who Preceded her in death.
She was affiliated with the Jehovah's Witnesses Church.
Survivors include a stepdaughter, Mildred Esponisa, Washington State; a sister Mary Fox Gray, Bridgeport. Three sisters preceded her in death.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Bridgeport City Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
