Oliver was 1 of 8 children born to David and Lydia Parmele Webb. He married Louisa Delorme Ellis in Huron County, Ohio 8 Mar 1827. They had 9 children; Electa, Harvey, Eliza, Francis, Loren, Prudence, Lester, Martin & Lydia. He married a second time in Nov 1863 to Sally Ann Lawrence.
