FRED H. BALLARD, 85, Detroit, died on Sunday, June 11, 1995, in the Carraway Medical Center in Winfield. He was born September 17, 1909, in Marion County, the son of Thomas and Elmira Emerson Ballard. He was a farmer.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, June 13, 1995, at 11 a.m. from the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Pleasant Site Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. Tommy Spruiell and Tim Markham were the officiating ministers.
Survivors include a son - Doug Ballard, Detroit; two daughters - Martha Self, Detroit and Helen Dalton, Huntsville; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Hamilton Funeral Home directed the services.
