Frances Ritch Hall, 72, of Valdese, N.C. passed away Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2008, at Burke Hospice & Palliative Care.

Mrs. Hall was born April 12, 1936 in Caldwell County to the late James Ritch and Sarah Greene Ritch.

She was a member of Lighthouse Ministries in Valdese.

Survivors include her daughters, Mary Warren and Rachel Morris both of Burke County, step-daughter Marilyn Harden of Macon, GA, eight grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, her brothers; Kermit Watson and Dennis Ritch and her sisters; Shirley Reeder, Violet Huffman and Edith Lackey.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Jessie Adams; her second husband, Billy Hall; a son, Jessie Kenneth Adams; a brother, Cecil Watson; and a sister, Estelle Phillips. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Pendry's Chapel with Pastor Donna O'Neil officiating.

Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Pendry's Funeral Home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Joe Dellinger, Jimmy Moser, Eddie Morris, Roger Cook, Homer Cook and Jack Cook.
