Funeral services for Joseph Benjamin Drose , of 5 E Street, who died yesterday at a local hospital, will be held at 3:30 o'clock this afternoon at 150 Wentworth Street, the Rev. William R. Pettigrew, pastor of the Citadel Square Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Bethany Cemetery, directed by McAlister's.

Mr. Drose was engineer for a logging camp railroad for fory-five years. He was sixty-five years old and a native of Clarendon County, a son of the late Joseph Calhoun Drose and Annie White Drose both of Clarendon County.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs C.O. Ott, of Savvannah; five sons, Talbert W. Drose, of Florence; Joseph T.; William B.; Leon, and Charles Edward Drose, all of Charleston, and a brother Leroy M. Drose, of Columbia.
