Mr. Drose was engineer for a logging camp railroad for fory-five years. He was sixty-five years old and a native of Clarendon County, a son of the late Joseph Calhoun Drose and Annie White Drose both of Clarendon County.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs C.O. Ott, of Savvannah; five sons, Talbert W. Drose, of Florence; Joseph T.; William B.; Leon, and Charles Edward Drose, all of Charleston, and a brother Leroy M. Drose, of Columbia.
