Uncle Benny was born January 30, 1955 in Ft.Worth TX to Billy and Betty Splawn. He died December 05, 2003 in Denton TX. Uncle Benny served in th U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was a glazier in the glass business and a baptist. He married Brenda Kay Gilliland on February 16, 1998. He is preceeded in death by his mother, my grandma, and his grandmother, Roxie Ann, my nanny. He is survived by his wife Brenda and their son Brandon Kyle of Boyd; father Billy, my Paw-Paw, and wife Pat of Azle; brother Bobby, my dad, and his wife Shawn of Boyd; two sisters, Brenda Fry and husband Jimmy of Boyd; Belenda Welch and husband Randy of Boyd and several nieces and nephews and several cousins. Pall Bearers were Rodney Simonson, Rodger Simonson, Pete Adams, Billy Ray Pierece, Jerry Vess, Dennis Lindy and Jonathan Thompson.
