Our funny, loving friend, Stephen Ray Newman, passed away November 7, 2008, in Provo Utah. Stephen was a man who loved being in the outdoors and working with his hands. His greatest joy was his family and friends, especially his "grandkids".

Stephen was born August 7, 1955, in Layton, Utah, to Harry J and June Lloyd Newman. He moved to Monroe in 1975, after helping his dad set up the family home. He married Roselie Ann Winn April 11, 1990, in Draper, Utah.

He is survived by his wife and best friend Roselie; children: Russell Winn, Sherene Demings and Tami Jones; brothers: Michael J. Newman and Edwin L. Newman; sisters: Jeanne McKenzie, Tamara Hosteenz, Linda Newman, and Julie Winn; six grandchildren and 12 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Vickie Ann.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. in Monroe City Cemetery. Friends may call at the Magleby Mortuary in Richfield on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. . Funeral directors, Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti
