Wheaton was born to Simeon and Salla (Bishop) Blandin on 28 Jan 1806 in Colrain, MA. He came to Timber Township during the 1850's with his mother Salla, brother William, sister Betsey, and possibly his elder brother Simeon. He was likely the "W" Blandin living with William Blandin and two females (their sister and mother) at Harkers Corner on 3 Jul 1865 but I have not found him in the 1870 census. I therefore suspect that he died sometime around 1867 in Timber Township at Harkers Corner.
