MADISON — Daniel H. Coffey, age 56 of 3706 Elliot Lane died Monday, February 14, 1976, at a local hospital after a short Illness. He was born May 29, 1919 in Yale, S.D. He was a veteran of World War II, 'the Korean conflict and Viet Nam Wars with the Air Force for which he served for 20 years. He worked at the Ohio Medical company as an Inspector for the past I5 years. He was a member of the Machinists Local No. 1406, a member of Saint Peter's Catholic Church, also an umpire in the home talent baseball league and the city baseball league at Warner
Park. He married the former Catherine Gillespie in July of 1955.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Kevin W., and John, J.; two daughters, Janine and Sharon all at home; a brother, John F. of Sun Prairie; and three sisters, Mrs. Harland Duckert, and Mrs. Melvin Haage, both of Sun Prairie and Mrs. Catharine McCloskey of 326 West Moorland Blvd. Funeral services will be .held at SAINT PATRICK'S CATHOLIC CHURCH of Cottage Grove on Thursday, February 19 at 10:30 a.m. with the Father Lawrence Korback officiating. Burial will be made in the church cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday, February 18 from 4 to 9 p.m. at the RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 2114 North Sherman Aye. where a scripture service will be held at 7:30 p.m.
