Simon B, Brandt, 77, of 149 North Gannon Street, died at 10:00 p. m, Saturday evening at his home. Death was ascribed to complications of ailments suffered for the past five months. He was a retired farmer and was a member of the Fredericksburg Church of God. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ella L. Tessnow Brandt; four sons, Samuel, Rockwood; Paul, Lebanon; Otto, Rehrersburg, and Charles, Lickdale; two daughters, Mrs. Christie Schott, Baltimore, Md., and Mrs. Katie Barr, Lebanon. Four brothers and four sisters also survive: Thomas, Daniel, Andrew, Harry, Mrs. Lizzie Kittle, Mrs. Annie Leppert, Mrs. Katie Mannor and Mrs. Rebecca Ferry, all of Kansas.
