Ethel Jordan Alfred, 100, of 257 Halls Creek Road, New Bern, died Saturday, Nov. 22, 2008 at Bayview Nursing Home.
She is survived by two sons, James W. Alfred Jr. of Stonewall and Ira Russell Alfred of Arapahoe; one daughter, Elsie Louise Alfred of New Bern; one sister, Louise Jordan Fore of Reelsboro; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Scott Fitzgerald officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and at other times at her home.

In lieu of flowers the family asked that memorial contributions be made to a Hospice organization of their choice.

Arrangements are by Bryant Funeral Home & Cremations in Alliance.



Ethel Jordan Alfred was the daughter of Jacob Watson Jordan and Isabelle Nobles Jordan.
