Funeral Services for Mrs. Leona Francis Set for 2 Saturday

Funeral services for Mrs. Leona P. Francis, 58, a resident of Saratoga for 38 years, will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:00, P. M. at the local Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Robert Palmer will officiate. Burial will be in the Saratoga Cemetery.

Mrs. Francis died Monday night in General Rose Memorial Hospital in Denver. She had been in poor health in the past year and a patient in the hospital since June 8.

She was born November 4, 1899, in Baggs and moved from the Snake River Valley to Saratoga in 1920. For several years she and Mr. Francis lived on various ranches in the Platte Valley. They moved to town in 1937 and had resided here since.

She was active in the Community Circle, Sierra Madre Rebekah Lodge, the Naomi Club and the Presbyterian Church.

She married Ed L. Francis in Craig July 3, 1920. Her husband died July 10, 1957.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Milan Wall of Rawlins and Mrs. Barton B. Butler of Medford, OR; two sons, Frank of Saratoga and Leonard of Salem, OR; three sisters, Mrs. James Banks of Saratoga, Mrs. Loren Wilcox of Payson Utah, and Mrs. Ray Curtis of Medford; and 12 grandchildren.

Mrs. Butler, Mrs. Wall, Leonard Francis, and Mrs. Curtis have all arrived for the services. Mrs. Wilcox is expected to arrive tomorrow or early Saturday
