David, the son of James Buckley and Julia Kathryn Lacy Kershaw, was a resident of Prague. He married Dorothy Jean Kelting Cheatwood on August 31, 1995 in Ada, Oklahoma.
David was a retired carpenter and a member of Calvary Way Church.
His parents, two sisters and one brother preceded David in death.
Survivors include his wife, Jean Cheatwood Kershaw of the home, son, Kevin Staley Kershaw of Pauls Valley, daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Larry Lucas of Shawnee, step-children, Larry and Kathy Kingsley of Shawnee, Kathy and Tom Zawaki of Augusta, Georgia, Danny Cheatwood, of Tecumseh, Mike and Linda Cheatwood of Prague, Mark and Cindy Cheatwood of Shawnee, Debbie Lee of Tecumseh, Christinna and Rusty Rushing of Shawnee, Lorrie and Eldon Brittain of Holdenville and Tracy and Steve South of Tecumseh, thirty one grandchildren and thirty great-grandchildren.
