His father, Mr. Samuel Dickey, came to Henry Co., in 1838, and located in Center Tp; he now resides at Mt. Pleasant. Mr. James B. Dickey married in 1856, Isabelle Sanderson, a native of Ohio, born in 1836, have one child- Charles S., born in 1872; lost one child, Stella, who died in May, 1870. Mr. Dickey was Deputy Treasurer for 1874 and 1875; was Assessor of Jackson Tp. four years; has been Justice of the Peace two years.
