Mrs. Richardson was born Dec. 6, 1809, in Hartford, Conn., and was married to Harry R. Richardson, who died thirty-two years ago in Lakeville, Conn. She removed to this city about thirty years ago, and has made her home with her son, Charles Richardson, cashier of the Leland hotel, ever since his maarriage fifteen years ago.
Four weeks ago Mrs. Richardson fell at her home and injured her hip, from which injuries her death resulted. She had been an invalid for the last few years.
She was a member of St. Paul's Pro-Cathedral, and was a devout Christian and a woman who was possessed of many admirable traits of character.
She was the mother of ten children, two of whom are dead, Bessie who died in infancy, and Mary, wife of H. B. Pratt of Chatham, N. Y. The eight surviving childreen are Mrs. Ellen Dauchy of New Haven, Conn., who has been at the bedside of her mother the last two weeks; Lucy E., wife of E. S. Cross of Allyrin, O.; James H. Richardson of Kansas City, Mo.; William D. Richardson of this city; Martha, wife of L. B. Judd of New Haven, Conn.; Dr. Frank Richardson of Wichita, Kan.; Ada, wife of W. F. Smith of Kiowa, Kan., and Charles Richardson of this city.
