Anoka, Minn - Ray Primmer, 94, of Anoka, Minn., died Sunday, Aug. 26. He was born in Polk Twp, Benton County on Sept. 18, 1889, a son of George and Sarah Waddle Primmer. He was married to Ruth Brody for 62 years before she preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife Edith; two sons, Gerlad of Buffalo, Minn., Harland of Brooklyn Park, Minn., and one daughter, Mrs. Preston Dorothy Newman of Plymouth, Minn., five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Besides his first wife he was preceded in death by two sisters, Florence Primmer Abernathy and Roxie Primmer Coleman, formerly of Vinton and one grandson, Donald Primmer. He is also survived by a niece, Mrs. Alvin Irene Gustafson of Oelwien and several cousins in Vinton.

Mr. Primmer was a member of the AFL Carpenters Union since 1909 and had been a member of the Churchof the Nazarene for 55 years. Funeral services were on Wednesday, Aug. 29 in Anoka and burial was in the Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, Crystal, Minn.
