Mr Sims died Friday May 15, 1992 in Brookview Nursing Home at the age of 73.
He was the Husband of Mary Black Sims of the Home and son of the late Colonel Simes and Lula Rodgers Sims. A native of Greenville County, he was a retired textile employee and member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Surviving are sons Larry David and Harold Lance Sims of Gaffney, SC and Dr Heber Grant Sims Of Spartanburg, SC ; A daughter Linda Pennington Robertson of Englewood, Colorado.
19 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren.
Pallbearer were Charles Dean Sims, Alan Britt Pennington Grandsons and Keith Robertson Son-in-law and David Varney
of Utah husband of Granddaughter Wendy Pennington Varney.
