Mrs. Rebecca Louisa (Michael) Layton, 87 years old, died at her home late Monday night, southwest of Fairland. She had been a resident of Ottawa county since 1902. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Mary Caroline (Layton) Capps (wife of James Capps) of Marysville, California; and five sons, William Hudson Layton, Philip Johnson Layton, Charles Arthur Layton, and Marion Finis Layton, all of Bernice, Oklahoma, and Grover Cleveland Layton, of Afton, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p. m. Wednesday at the Rolston church. The Rev. C. E. Bergen will officiate. Burial will be in Rolston Cemetery under direction of Lane Funeral home.
