This gravestone is clearly inscribed
MORGAN - WINNIE WIFE of GEORGE B. MORGAN 1872-1912.
Please do not merge a memorial for George B. Morgan, Winnie's 2nd husband, using a photo of this gravestone, without proof that he is buried here. A merge will only be allowed if a burial record or other proof of burial is submitted. Also, please do not add cropped photos of census records to memorials. Thank you.

Her full name was Ada Florinda, but she was called Winnie.
She was the second child in the large pioneer McCormick family of Klamath County, Oregon and a Mayflower descendant through her mother. She was the only McCormick child born in Missouri (when the family was moving from Minnesota to Kansas).
She married first Charles C. "Charlie" Miller 10 March 1893 in Klamath County. He reportedly was a farmer and died about 1903. They had two children: daughter Ethel Emley Miller (Ethelyn on her Memorial) and Charles Colter Miller.
Winnie married 2nd George B. Morgan 6 May 1905 in Klamath County. They moved to Bandon, Coos County, Oregon for work in the lumber industry. Their twin sons George P. and Jerome Morgan (born 1909) were half brothers to Ethel and Charles.
Winnie died quite suddenly at only about age 40-41 -- leaving her husband George Morgan with four children. Submitted by GLLinmanMoore July 2015.
