Gravois Mills, Mo. - Former Duncan, Okla., resident ASHLEY RENEE' PARKS, 21, of Gravois Mills, Mo., died Sunday, Nov. 9, 2008, in Camdenton, Mo.
Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Don Grantham Funeral Home Chapel, Duncan, with Ron Stough and Cathy Knighton officiating. Interment will be in Claud Cemetery.
She was born on May 10, 1987, in Duncan. She is the daughter of Kelly Wayne and Carol Parks, and Andrea Daniel' Darity and Jeff Greener. Ashley graduated from Duncan High School in 2006.
She was a member of Eastside Church of Christ. She had been working for one year as a certified nurse aide at Windsor Estates in Camdenton.
Ashley enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding 4-wheelers and hanging out with her friends.
Survivors include her parents, Andrea and Jeff Greener of Gravois Mills, and Kelly and Carol Parks of Duncan; a sister, Kassidi Lee Parks of Duncan; two brothers, Dennis James Greener of Excelsior Springs, Mo., and Tanner Dale Sessom of Lawton, Okla.; maternal grandparents, Franky Bryant of Duncan, and Louis Darity of Marlow, Okla; paternal grandparents, FonZell and Lewis Thompson of Sunrise, Mo., Harmon and Brenda Parks of Duncan, Janice Parks of Texarkana, Texas, and Lou and Jack Green of Duncan; maternal great-grandparents, Frank and JoAnn Bryant; a paternal great-grandmother, Lillian Parks of Duncan; her best friend, Rachel Leyrer of Duncan; and numerous aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandfathers, Jim Parks and William Cornell; a great-grandmother, Gertie Cornell; a grandfather, Jackie Green; grandparents, Melba and Conner Darity; and uncles, Anthony Cornell, Todd Hill and Timothy Crouch.
Bearers will be Bubba Green, Shawn Coulston, Terry Coulston, Clay Suson, Bodie Lane and Wade Green.
Honorary bearers are her family and friends left behind in Missouri.
