Khalic Pitts, 32, of Syracuse, departed this life Wednesday at University Hospital. He is survived by his father, Mack Pitts; mother, Glenda N. Reese (KaMyal); three children, Lahtayvia, Tazelic and Khalic Jr.; his fiancee, Latoya Knighton; three sisters, Obioma Newman (Curtis), Lateefah Rashid and Najla Rashid; two brothers, Anthony Pitts (Maisha) and Raheem Pitts; paternal grandmother, Katie Pitts, all of Syracuse; several loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Calling hours will be 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday at Gospel Temple Church of God In Christ, 571 Oakwood Ave., with funeral services following at noon. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
