Carol was born February 2, 1953 in Texarkana, Texas. Carol was a member of the Methodist Church. She graduated from Hooks High School in 1971 and completed the Civil Service Internship in Las Cruses, New Mexico. Her career started in Texarkana, Texas to Dallas, Texas, Huntsville, Alabama and ended in Ogden, Utah.
Carol is survived by her husband, Johnny Duke of Nash, Texas, and her son Lance Duke of Texarkana, Texas, her father and mother Rayferd and Rose Roy of Nash, Texas, her brother and sister-in-law Billy and Diann Roy of Nash, Texas, and a number of nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.
She is remembered with love by many relatives and friends. Carol loved life and lived it fully. She was a joy to all around her. She danced while all were watching, hoping that they would join in. She fought a brave fight and ultimately won the battle. Carol, a joy to all that knew her, lives on in our hearts forever. She was a picture of strength, love and compassion. As a wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, she loved unconditionally. She will be missed. Until we meet again, God�s peace.
Services will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at Chapelwood Funeral Home, Nash, Texas with Rev. Roy Ford officiating. Burial will be at Red Lick Cemetery
