“Naomi L. Pugh, 80, a resident of Kingman, died at 12:05 a.m. October 7, 1992, at Culver Union Hospital, Crawfordsville. She was born at Paris, Illinois, the daughter of John and Sedelia Frye Bartlett. She was married to Joseph Pugh. He preceded her in death October 30, 1953.

She had retired from Impex formerly of Crawfordsville.

Surviving, are: 12 daughters, Mrs. Perle (Betsy) Knight, Metcalf, Illinois; Mrs. Paul (Lorraine) Cross, Kokomo; Mrs. Joe (Madge) Gill, Mrs. Bill (Nancy) Kinkead, Mrs. Robert “Butch” (Sue) Thomas, Mrs. Pete (Donna) Poole, Beverly MacNorton, Mary Jo Farley, and Janet Coltharp, all of Crawfordsville; Nola Parker, Hillsboro; Mrs. Dave (Margaret) Peebles, Bedford, Texas; Mrs. Greg (Candace) Fray, Rockville; a grandson, Mike Pugh, whom she raised; 27 grandchildren; and eight step great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, John; a brother; a sister; and two grandsons.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Woodrow Funeral Home, Kingman, with Kenneth Majors officiating. Burial was in Rush Creek Cemetery, east of Tangier.” – Fountain County Neighbor, Attica, Indiana, October 13, 1992
