J Thomas Gary died Sunday Mar 30th of wounds received in altercation on Sat, Mar 22nd. Gary received a fractured skull and other severe head injuries, allegedly inflicted by George Emmett, who is being held in jail on charge of first degree murder. Gary was a caretaker at Harbeson field. Services held Monday with interment following in Magnolia. The deceased was 81 yrs and a native of Brooklyn NY but had resided here
for past 27 yrs.
