Mary Roslyn Brazier Beesley died March 14, 1999, at her home in Bountiful, Utah, at the age of 91.

She was born September 22, 1907, to Frank Wilford and Lydia Adelia Weiler Brazier in Salt Lake City.

She married Horace Pratt Beesley, October 24, 1928, in the Salt Lake Temple.

Mrs. Beesley attended L.D.S. Business College. She was an accountant for many years and worked as a partner with her husband in Modern Motors (a Ford dealership in Bountiful), in Samson Construction Company, and in Bountiful Realty and Sales. She was a real estate broker with lifetime membership in the Salt Lake Board of Realtors and was the first president of the Womens Council of Realtors in the State of Utah. She was active in community affairs serving as president of Davis High School PTA, president of Bountiful Lady Lions, Organizing Regent of the Sego Lily Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, and State Vice Regent of Utah Society DAR.

Mrs. Beesley was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many capacities, including Stake Relief Society board and Stake Improvement Era representative. She served with her husband who was President of the Central German Mission. In everything she went the second mile and was loved and respected by all who worked with her.

She had a great love for music, opera and ballet. She was instrumental in starting the Bountiful Community Concert Series which brought great musical entertainment to the community.

Most important to her was her family. She created a wonderful home and many joyous memories for her children and extended family. She was a constant companion to her husband.

She is survived by her children, Mrs. Glenn B. (Marilyn) Goodrich, Mrs. Verlan J (Sharol) Terry, and Mrs. H. Brent (Carol) Moon, all of Bountiful; and Horace Brent Beesley (married to Bonnie Jean Matheson) of Salt Lake City; and son-in-law, Jay Hartvigsen of Downey, Idaho; 42 grandchildren and 93 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Janice Hartvigsen; twin sisters; two grandsons, and two great-granddaughters.
