His first wife was Mary Frances "Fanny" Clark.
Mary Frances Clark was born on January 18, 1862, in South Carolina. She married Benjamin Lewis Segler/Seigler in Alabama on December 14, 1882. They had five children in their 15 years together. She died on November 16, 1898, in Alabama, at the age of 36.
His second wife was Phalsa/Falzie/Falzy Lee Norris. [Note: At age 1, her name was spelled Phalsa-but over time the spelling changed to Falzie.]
He and Falzie had seven sons and five daughters.
He died on February 12, 1946, at their home in Walton County, Florida, at the age of 82.
