GREENEVILLE, March 15 -- Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon for James Marshall, 78, who died Wednesday at the home of his son, Jack Marshall of Gaithersburg, Md. The body will arrive in Greeneville Saturday morning, and will be taken to the home of a son, Pete Marshall, north Irish street.
Services will be held from the Mount Hebron United Brethren church, by Rev. Guy Smith, and Rev. M. H. Carver, with interment in a nearby cemetery.
He is survived by his widow, and seven sons, Tom, Pete, Ben, Sampson, Walter, Jack, and Williams[sic], and four daughters, Mrs. Mae Fannon, Mrs. Leo Ricker, Miss Susie Marshall, and Miss Lottie Marshall.
