Marie Elizabeth Rieb Funeral Friday Funeral services for Mrs.Marie Elizabeth Rieb, 84, of 626 N. 2nd Ave., will be conducted 11 a.m.,Friday, from the Walters Chaney Funeral Home, the Rev. Arnold Obermeier officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside cemetery. Mrs. Rieb died Tuesday in Aurora.She was born Aug 31, 1887, in Russia the daughter of Henry and Anna E.Reimer Schaefer. She married Henry Rieb, Sr., Nov. 12, 1904, in Niedermunju, Rusia, and the couple came to the United States in 1908. They resided in Chicago, Ill., until moving to the Crook area in 1919 and
farmed in that area until 1947 when they moved to Crook and thence to Sterling in 1960. Mr. Rieb died Dec. 19, 1970. Mrs. Rieb was a member of the Zion United Church of Christ. She is survived by two sons, Henry Rieb, Jr., of Sterling and John Rieb of Aurora; two daughters, Mrs. Marie Fisher of Westminister and Mrs. Johanna Probst of Hugo; 19 grandchildren; 9 greatgrandchildren and one
great great-granddaughter. Walters-Chaney Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
