She was the daughter of Samuel Maxson and Ruth Rogers. [Samuel provided patriotic service to the American Revolution; Judith's descendants are eligible for DAR/SAR/CAR membership]. She married Henry Burdick in 1778 and they had 9 or 10 children, several of whom are also buried in Spafford City Cemetery. This photograph was taken by my cousin Gregory Burdick. Judith Maxson was our 4th great grandmother.
