Mark Allen Turpin, 32, of Christiansburg, passed away Thursday, November 6, 2008. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roy and Alice Turpin and Marvin and Sylvia Sowers; sister, Lisa Gale Turpin; uncle, Larry Sowers. He is survived by his parents, Wendell William and Margaret Sowers Turpin, of Christiansburg; two brothers, Anthony William Turpin and his wife, Leslie, of Christiansburg, and Timothy Andrew Turpin and his friend, Kim Shelor, of Floyd; and a nephew, Matthew William Turpin; and a niece, Taylor Renee Turpin. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 10, 2008 at 2 p.m., at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with the Rev. Frankie Graham officiating. Interment will follow at the Pentecostal Conference Cemetery in Dublin. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Christiansburg Rescue Squad, 190 Depot Street, Christiansburg, Va. 24073. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home.
