Jennifer K. Ray, age 20, of Valparaiso passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2008. She was lifetime Valparaiso resident and a graduate of Portage High School Class of 2007. Jennifer worked at Radio Shack in Hobart as an assistant manager. She always had her camera with her and loved taking pictures of family and friends. Jennifer is survived by her loving family; parents: John and Donna Ray of Valparaiso; two brothers: John Ray, Jr. of Moreno Valley, CA and Jason (Sarah) Ray of Romeoville, IL; one sister, Jessica Ray of Valparaiso; Grandmother, Kay Granzow; aunts and uncles: Bonnie Dooley of Valparaiso, JoAnn (Bernie) Cooper of Knox, Debbie (Dave) Stutler of Hobart, Joel Ray Jr. of Monticello, Jim (Sandy) Ray of Valparaiso, Jessie Ray of Valparaiso and Jeff (Sue) Ray of Portage; many cousins, other family and many friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Donald Granzow, and Joel and Eva Ray. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 10, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave., Portage, with Rev. John Allen officiating. Burial will follow.
