Willie "Raymon" "Ray" Rolan was born to Jim and Nettie Rolan, in Milam Co., Rockdale, TX. He was named after his grandfather John Willie Wilson.
His family moved to Houston, TX, in 1932. Raymon, graduated from Spring Branch HS, in 1949. Then, he joined the US Navy and was stationed, in Japan.
Upon his return he worked at the Spring Branch VFD, as the dispatch. After, which he was employed and trained by IBM. He worked for IBM for many years, in Houston and then ventured out on his on endeavors.
In, 1963, Raymon married long time friend Burna Dean (Wilson) Markum. They were divorced shortly there after.
In 1966, he married Patsy Loggins and adopted her three beautiful children, then he and Patsy were blessed with his only biological child, Diana Ray.
Raymon sadly, took his life, in 1992, on his mother's birthday.
