SOUTH BEND - Harold E. Witwer, 85, of Carlyle Healthcare Center, formerly of 1229 Van Buren St., died at 9:40 a.m. Wednesday in the nursing home. He was a former employee of Studebaker corp. He was born Feb. 18, 1906, in St. Joseph County, Ind. There are no survivors. He was a member of First Christian Church.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Mishawaka City Cemetery. Welsheimer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements."
