PENNY L. SWEET HUGHES, 49, Indianapolis, formerly of Franklin, died Feb. 23. For 11 years, she was the assistant activity director at Village Christian Parke, Zionsville, to which memorial contributions may be made. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church, Whitestown.

Services: 10 a.m. Feb. 25 in Flanner & Buchanan Zionsville Mortuary, with calling from 4 to 8 p.m. Feb. 24.

Graveside services: 12:30 p.m. Feb. 25 in Rest Haven Cemetery, Edinburgh.

Survivors: daughters Kristie J. Talbert, Melinda J. Shue parents William N. and Wilma J. Stine Sweet brother Norman Sweet sister Connie Miller five grandchildren.

Penny L. Hughes, 49, died Tuesday, Feb. 23, 1999, in Franklin. She was a resident of Franklin.

She was born July 29, 1949, in Franklin. Her parents are Bill and Jean (Stine) Sweet of Franklin. Survivors include two daughters, Krissie Jean Talbert of Lebanon and Melinda Jo Shue of Thorntown; a brother, Norman Sweet of Crawfordsville; a sister, Connie Pickett of Edinburgh; and five grandchildren.

She worked at the Village Christian Home in Zionsville for 10 years.

A service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at Flanner & Buchanan Mortuary in Zionsville, followed by a graveside service at 12:30 p.m. at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh. Friends may call from 4:30 to 8 p.m. today at the mortuary.
