Daughter of Nelse & Selma (Warner) Lundeen.

Attended District 19 school through the eighth grade, then graduated from Holdrege High School in 1938; member of the National Honor Society.

Attended Kearney State Teachers College, 1939 - 1941, received her teaching certificate; taught first through fourth grades in Upland, 1941 - 1944; worked for the Department of the Navy in Burbank, Calif., May - December 1944; returned to care for her ill father.

Married: June 21, 1946, to Omer Andersen at First Methodist Church in Holdrege. He died in 2007
Taught third and fourth grades at Axtell Public School, fall 1945 - May 1948.

Activities: active member of First United Presbyterian Church in Axtell, served in various positions and committees; moved to Kearney, 1994, and to Northridge in 2004.

Survivors include her sons, Tim and his wife, Donna, of Kearney and David of Crete; daughter, Julie McConnell and her husband, Dick, of Kearney; grandchildren, Mark, Kara, Laura, Andrew and Dalton; and great-grandson, Henry

Was preceded in death by her husband; an infant daughter, Jane; brothers, Warner, Charles and Arnold Lundeen; and sister, Grace Frandsen.
