Daniel Harrison Bulloch was born July 16, 1840 in Meriwether County, Georgia to Cyprian and Lucinda Gray Bulloch.

He departed this life October 21, 1920 at the home of his son, William near Pelham, Georgia.

He joined the Georgia Volunteer Infantry, Army of Tennessee, Meriweather County, Georgia, Howard Infantry. Company F, 41st Regiment.
He was captured at Vicksburg, Mississippi on July 4, 1863 and paroled there on July 6, 1863. He rejoined his regiment and surrendered near Raleigh, North Carolina on April 26, 1865.

He married Matilda Ann Collier November 1, 1863 in Upson County, Georgia. She was the daughter of Charles and Rebecca Owen Collier.

The children of Daniel and Matilda Bulloch are:
William Henry, Cora Lee, Annie, Maggie, Cyprian, Lila Rebecca, Lila Lucindy, Jesse Hood, Benjamin Vines, Charlye Byrd, Nellie Eugene and Margaret.
