Peter Harple, who was born September 22, 1834, in Harrison Twp., died Saturday in the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Gotschall, of Lee Twp., and was buried Monday at New Harrisburg. The funeral services were conducted by his pastor, Rev. K. J. Stewart. He was married to Isabel Young, who died several years ago. Mr. Harple passed his entire life in the township where he was born.
He is survived by the following children; John, of Rose Twp.; Anna Borland, of Bayard; Mary Borland, Maggie Long and Mrs. Dallas Gotschall, of Lee Twp. A living brother is George Harple, of Pekin.

Again we are called upon to mourn, and to extend our sympathy to the bereaved. Again the death angel hath visited us and removed a Loving father, a self-sacrificing neighbor and a faithful Christian.
Peter Harple was born September 22, 1834, and was united in marriage to Isabelle J. Young, October 13, 1864. He departed this life November 7, 1914, and his body laid away in South View Cemetery, New Harrisburg, on Monday Rev. K. J. Stewart conducted the funeral services. He was one of a family of five children, and leaves to mourn one brother George Harple, five children, one son and four daughters. He was tenderly cared for by the children at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Gotschall. His wife departed this life January 16, 1908.
